RideLink PowerSaver reduces the power consumption in the idle mode of RideLink WingMan to <1mA, preserving your motorcycle battery. Additionally, the PowerSaver allows the connection of RideLink WingMan to motorcycles with a so-called K-Line. This will make it possible to read vehicle data from older motorcycles in the future.

Overview

The PowerSaver operates exclusively based on vibrations. When the PowerSaver detects a vibration, it turns on the power for 10 seconds. If no further vibration occurs within these 10 seconds, it switches off the power.

The WingMan or other connected 12V consumers will then no longer receive power. In the WingMan's app, 0V will also be displayed at the battery because the WingMan can no longer measure any power.

The PowerSaver and the WingMan do not communicate with each other.

Installation

Installing the WingMan is very simple. The PowerSaver just needs to be plugged between the WingMan and the cable.
